A Family History

Today, we have grown into a group of small family businesses looking at the Agri-food and Tourism sector with 100 years of history. We are proud to say that we have reached the fourth generation of our family, continuing to carry these activities forward.

"Day after day, we are increasingly committed to producing products and services of excellence, utilizing cutting-edge technology without ever losing sight of the Sicilian traditions and values taught to us by our grandparents. Every step of the production phase—from packaging to sales—has been meticulously studied and monitored to guarantee the highest quality standards.


Our family history is made of emigration, fertile lands, and sacrifices; of prized olive groves and wheat fields; of hands that get dirty, the scent of fresh bread, and newly pressed olive oil.


We have worked tirelessly to ensure that the ideas, values, and dreams of our grandparents—born from their hard work—could become a cutting-edge business reality, and today we can proudly say that we have succeeded.

Our group is the result of the union between the Settimo, Giaramida, and Biondo families, whose founders were my great-grandparents “Mastru Paolo” and “Zù Nzulu”

(Papa Vince).

Today, with great passion and dedication, we carry forward our small businesses in Sicily, which day after day are pushed further toward the future, without ever leaving behind the lessons taught by our grandparents. This is why we want to bring healthy and natural food to your tables; to achieve this goal, we use only top-quality raw materials sourced exclusively from our own farms, ensuring a unique traceability of the product that we invite our customers to see and experience firsthand.

Finally, just as our century-old history tells, and more recently like those emigrants—including our own Grandparents—who carried values and ideas with them on long ship voyages to the Americas starting as early as 1900, we are committed to staying faithful to the true traditions and values our grandparents instilled in us, treasuring them and sharing them with the entire world.

Our logo fully represents our corporate vision, embodying our entire history.
● Sicilian: symbolizes our land, Sicily, our island in which we have always believed. Through our work, we have committed ourselves to bringing its essence to the world, valuing and respecting it.

● Nonni: the people who taught us everything and whom we honor, those who gave us life, fought for this land and defended those humble and genuine values they passed down to us over generations.

All of this is summarized in the letter N, which serves as a symbolic link between “Sicilian” and “Nonni,” uniting past, present, and future in a single emblem.
Finally, we chose an international style and pronunciation for this new brand, to allow us to approach all global markets and effectively spread our message.

Mission

Sicilian Nonni is the living soul of an authentic Sicily, one that tells stories of hardworking hands, golden sunsets over the fields, and traditions that transcend time. We are the evolution of over a century of passion and dedication: producers, processors, and today, ambassadors of a heritage unique in the world. Our mission is not only to create products but to open the doors to a world made of flavors, history, and culture, bringing to the consumer not just a taste of Sicily, but the opportunity to know and experience it. Every one of our olive trees, every cluster of grapes, every grain of wheat tells a story: ours.

With our own hands, we cultivate, transform, and package products that speak of excellence and passion. Oil, wine, pasta, sweets, passito wines, and vinegars: everything is born from a generous land, tended with love and respect. But we don’t stop there.

We want to offer experiences that immerse the visitor in the truest Sicily, made of family traditions, ancient scents, and breathtaking landscapes. Our approach goes beyond classic sales systems. We want to recount emotions and stories.

Stories that intertwine past and future, tradition and innovation, authenticity and vision. We draw inspiration from the greats who have honored our land – from Archimedes to Pirandello – to create a new paradigm: not just commerce, but the sharing of values and culture.

We are here to leave a mark. To help combat the economic and cultural desertification of Sicily, striving to provide opportunities and to reverse the destiny of those who leave out of necessity. Our mission is clear: to transform our island into an inexhaustible resource of opportunity, letting the world know the beating heart of Sicily, a land one never forgets.

Vision

The new project and the new brand “Sicilian Nonni” summarizes and looks, in a new post-Pandemic World, at 100 years of history of hard work by a Sicilian family. Today, the same family resumes and re-evaluates through a varied Basket of its own “products,” created with those authentic and strong VALUES that our Grandparents held in their Hearts and that today’s “modern” men have lost in this fragile, technological, and frantic society. “Sicilian Nonni” will have as the final point of its global project, the great ambition of being a social example, spreading and re-evaluating the substance of the ancient Values of our grandparents who made Our country and part of the world Great.
An added objective, on the theme of Emigration, is that “Sicilian Nonni” wants to affirm the idea that it should not always be people who have to move to improve their lives and work, but it must be the “products” of our land that are sold and made to emigrate, so that they can be known and appreciated throughout the World.
Thus, “Sicilian Nonni” becomes both a cultural vehicle and a starting point for economic and social development for our Land and our young people, leading them to reflect that by making an act of courage, if one focuses on their own history, values, and “products,” they can achieve their Dreams in their own “home”! Finally, for “Sicilian Nonni” the vision is clear: to celebrate Sicily as a land of geniuses and innovators, fighting negative stereotypes and emphasizing its true essence, that of Archimedes and an unparalleled cultural heritage.
